White Spots on Projector Display Repair

Vertical Lines on Xiaomi Mi Projector Screen
Another common issue with 4K UST laser projectors vertical or horizontal lines on projector displays.
This is due the degradation of the DMD heat sink which causes the heat sink to bend, thereby causing loss of contact between the DMD chip and the DMD chip LGA tray. When this happens, the horizontal lines get burnt-in onto the chips.
4K UST laser Projector Repair
All 4K UST laser projectors are very compact in design. These machines have four fans. The DMD cooler fan is smaller that the other 3 fans and often conks out. Also when dust and soot become heavy on the fans, their efficiency become compromised. This leads to overheating which in turn may result in intermittent shutdowns and the failure of the DMD Chip.
